John A Burns School of Medicine:

The School of medicine for the University of Hawaii moved into its new building on September 16, 2005.  This concludes nearly  2 years of work for Bruce Matson Company.

The project consists of an Education and Administration Building and a Research Building.

Our work included installation of over 750  wood and hollow metal door openings, including smoke and fire doors.  Marlite panels were installed in the elevator lobbies, reception areas and some offices.

We installed nearly 7,000 lft of custom and modular casework throughout the two buildings.  In the Education / Administration building we installed over 150 seats in the auditorium.  Our scope also included the toilet accessories, toilet partitions, acrovyn crash rails, metal lockers, fire extinguisher cabinets, corner guards and other miscellaneous specialty items.
